Welcome to Rothay Photography.

Photography is a passport; an excuse to tramp the planet’s exquisite spaces,  to lurk, camera in hand in lonely, isolated woods or mountains in the cold blue light of a dawn, to hear the sounds of our world crystal in the still air and to momentarily experience peace and calm in our otherwise frenetic lives.

And then some of us try to capture the moment, to store it away in all it’s splendor and brilliance. It can never be done of course, even the best of us produce no more than a pale facsimile .... and that’s even if we do remember the camera!
